Bid Retraction Policy

Once you have placed a bid on an item, that bid may not be retracted. However, on occasion there are unusual instances that might permit you to retract a bid. Review the buynsellindia.com User Agreement (4.3) for more information. Please do not abuse this privilege.

You must only place a bid if you intend to buy the relevant item at the bid price entered. Your bids are not retractable once the auction has closed or by the discretion of the seller.

If you are notified that your bid has been successful, you must complete the transaction in the manner specified. By placing a bid, you enter in to an agreement of completing the transaction with the seller. Exclusive of situations below

There are few exceptional circumstances under which you may retract a bid. These are if:

• You unintentionally entered the wrong bid amount. For instance, you bid Rs. 66.50 instead of Rs. 6.50. Kindly note that change of mind in completing the transaction is not considered a typing error and you will be obligated to complete the transaction.

Note: If you enter a wrong bid amount, you can retract your bid and should place the correct bid amount immediately, Or else the retraction will be considered a violation of buynsellindia.com User Agreement(4.3) and could result in your account suspension.

• The seller of the item you placed bid has changed the item description and other specification significantly.
• Seller cannot be contacted or not responding. This means that you tried sending a message through "Ask Seller a Question” from the item listing page. We suggest that you allow some time for the seller to get in touch or respond to your messages (not everyone lives on their computer, you know!).

Note: You can always check the seller’s status if they are online, under the "Seller Information” section on top right of the item listing page. If the seller is online, you will see a blinking "Online” image below the seller’s User ID. This is to ensure that buyer’s and sellers have a timely communication. Violation of Bid Retraction policy

Abuse or repeated use of the bid retraction option is not permitted on buynsellindia.com. This includes any manipulation of the bidding process to discover the maximum bid of the current high bidder. Any violation of this policy can lead to the suspension of your account on buynsellindia.com.

In certain situations, a bid may be retracted. In order to retract your bid, it must meet the requirements of our Bid Retraction policy.

Kindly note that bid retractions apply only to auction format listings. If you purchase a "Buy Now” item, you are obligated to pay the seller. If you have used the "Buy Now” option by mistake, you should contact the seller immediately by using the "Ask Seller a Question" option from the item listing page or through the seller’s contact details available in the "Message Board" in "Won” section of your buynsellindia.com account. You should request the seller if they are willing to cancel your transaction mutually. You can only retract your bid at certain times in a listing, depending on when you placed your bid

There are special regulations about retracting bids, depending on when you initially placed the bid.

You may retract that bid before the last 9 hours of the auction, in compliance of our Bid Retraction policy. All bids you have placed in that auction will be removed. If you are rectifying an incorrect bid, you must bid again. You cannot retract a bid during the last 9 hours of the auction.

However, you can always contact the seller to request that your bid be cancelled. The seller will have the sole discretion whether to cancel your bid before the auction ends.

Note: Any abuse of the Bid Retraction policy will be dealt strictly and may lead to the suspension of your account.
