At Buy n Sell (India) we offer a simple feedback system.

• - For every positive feedback members leave we award +1 point.
• - For every average (neutral) feedback members leave we award 0 points.
• - For every negative feedback members leave we deduct -1 point.

This results in a clickable number appearing alongside your username eg: buynsellindia (35)

Feedback cannot be removed except in certain rare circumstances which are mentioned in the later part of this page.

What does the star icon next to Feedback Score mean?

Feedback stars are awarded to members for achieving 1 or more Feedback ratings on Buy n Sell (India).com. Check below what the different Stars mean.

Yellow star () = 1 to 9 feedback score

Green star () = 10 to 49 feedback score

Blue star () = 50 to 99 feedback score

Orange star () = 100 to 499 feedback score

Red star () = 500 & above feedback score

Viewing feedback:

Buy n Sell (India) allows you to view all feedback left.

This option allows you to quickly look at the specific type of feedback that may interest you. You can see quickly if a member has a good reputation in the area that might affect you. Everyone who comes to Buy n Sell (India) starts with the same feedback score "0". For some people it will take a long time to build up a feedback score whilst others can do it quite quickly. This all depends on the products they trade in and frequency of use.
We can still see from people with low feedback scores if a member is trustworthy by looking for any negative reports. A member with 10 positives and no negatives shows to be a more consistent person than one with 100 positives and 40 negatives/neutrals although the second member would have the higher feedback number.

How to leave feedback:

Once a transaction takes place an "Open feedback" button will appear in the Feedback Section of you're My Account page. Please ensure that you leave feedback for all transactions that you are involved with. This will help the community in the future.

• - Do not leave feedback that could be seen to be vulgar, racist, libellous or defamatory.
• - Make good use of the feedback system to decide on the trustworthiness of a member.
• - Please ensure that every possible avenue has been explored before leaving a negative feedback.

When to leave negative feedback:

It's great to leave positive feedback but it is important to stop and think before we leave negative feedback. We must remember that this is a person to person community. Most members here are just normal everyday people; they are not in big business. As such they are liable to make a mistake. Allow for this before acting in haste or anger. If all else fails then leave negative feedback, but try to count to 10 and explore every solution first. You can use the "Message Board" in your "My Account" page to contact your Trading Partner or from the Listing page.

The importance of leaving Feedback:

Buy n Sell (India) is a community of trading members. It is a location to meet or make contact with similar minded members. Therefore it is the members that sculpt the nature of the community. Nobody wants to live, work and trade in a neighbourhood of crooks or villains. We don't want this at home so why should we allow it at Buy n Sell (India)? We believe strongly that the character of this facility is crafted by you the member and as such it is you that can help police your own community by leaving feedback for all to see on the performance of other members. This in itself will help to keep our neighbourhood good.

Once feedback or feedback responses have been left it cannot be removed unless it contains the following:

• - Personal contact details
• - Defamatory content.
• - Libellous content.
• - Feedback left by a person who has since been removed from the membership due to incorrect contact information.
• - Feedback containing external links.
• - Feedback that contains vulgar or racist comments or words.
• - Feedback that entices members to trade away from the Buy n Sell (India) website
