To register with us click on the "Register" button or link found on both the navigation bar and in the footer navigation.
(Q) I'm under 18, can i sign up?
In accordance with standard law under 18's cannot participate in auctions or purchase items online, as they are legal binding contracts.
Retrieve Lost Password/Username
(Q) How to retrieve my lost Password or Username?
You can
retrieve your lost Password or Username by clicking on the ?Login? button on the green navigation
bar appearing on all the pages. On the ?Login?
page click on the link ?Lost Password and/or Login
Name?? just below the login button. On the next page provide your
registered email address with our site and you will receive an email with the
requested information.
Fees
(Q) What is Item Insertion Fees?
An Item Insertion Fee is a listing fee which is charged to the seller of an item to list their item on Buy n Sell India.com. See ?Site Fees? section for fee charges. This fee is charged to your seller's account at the time of listing. Insertion Fees are not refundable.
(Q) What is Final Sales Fees (FSF)?
A Final Sales Fees (FSF) is paid by seller if the item is sold, ends with a winning bid, or is purchased. This fee applies whether or not you complete the sale with the buyer.
(Q) What is Feature Fees?
Feature Fees are optional feature charges (paid by seller) while listing the item for sale to help increase bids and chances of selling success by opting for additional features..
Selling
(Q) How do I list an item?
You must
first be a registered member. Once you have registered simply login to your
account and click on the "Sell" link. The first thing to do is select
a general category for your item, note that you can choose a more specific
category further into the listing process. You can then enter in your chosen
settings and item description.
(Q) How can I keep track of items I'm selling?
You can keep an eye on everything you are selling by visiting your "Selling" section under "My Account" page.
(Q) Can I use HTML when listing an item?
Yes you can, however we recommend you use basic tags as complex HTML descriptions do not always display correctly.
(Q) How to end auction early?
Login to your account and go to the ?Open Auctions? link under ?Selling? section on your ?My Account? page.
Then, select ?End Auction Earlier link under the ?Option? heading, click ?OK? to end your auction immediately. (Note: By Clicking ?OK? button will end your auction immediately without any further confirmation?.
How to Bid?
(Q) How do I place a bid?
To place a bid on an item you must first become a registered user and then login to your account. Once logged in, a bidding box will be displayed at top & bottom of all auction pages. You can use this box to place you chosen bid. If it?s ?Buy Now? item then you will not find the bid box but a ?Buy Now? button to purchase the item right away without any wait time or bidding process.
(Q) How can I keep track of items I'm bidding on?
You can keep an eye on everything you are bidding on by visiting the ?Buying? section of your ?My Account? page.
(Q) How do I know if I am outbid on an item?
Our auction system will automatically notify you via email if you are outbid.
